TRUELUX Colour Booths provide these controlled, reproducible conditions in accordance with the relevant standards.

Visual colour assessment using a proper booth is a common and important means of colour quality control in the plant and the laboratory. It may be sensibly used as an adjunct or an alternative to instrumental methods of colour control depending on considerations such as the nature of the sample surface, type of appraisal required, presence of metallics, location and cost.

TRUELUX Colour Booths have applications in and industry where qualitative appraisal or comparison is required, including the plastics, coatings, automotive, printing, packaging, paper, textiles, clothing, food, cosmetics, and ceramics industries.

Electronic instant start and electronically interlocked switching mean instantaneous start up and change of light source for maximum colour difference perception.

A total of ten lamps plus high quality diamond acrylic diffuser fitted as standard result in over 2000 Lux of even illumination for all illuminants.

Specially controlled incandescent lighting maintains correct Lux and colour temperature value as required by standards.

UV light may be selected alone or with any other light source.

Hour Meter records total time Daylight lamps are in use to indicate when 2000 hour changeover is due.

Full laminate construction with Lexan fascia means all surfaces are scratch, strain and solvent resistant and readily cleanable.

TRUELUX Colour Control Booths are fitted with the following light sources:

Illuminant D65	Flourescent artificial daylight D65 to international standard, for colour matching.
Incandescent	Incandescent tungsten filament of controlled output representing domestic lighting and for testing for metamerism.
TL84	High energy triphospher fluorescent representing point-of-sale lighting.
UV	Ultra Violet backlight for revealing fluorescent dyes and brighteners.

These units have been specially designed to throw shadow free light on to two surfaces and are fitted with 5000° K colour tubes. The eight drawer base is ideal for storage of proofs or copy and is fitted with roller bearings to ensure smooth running of the drawers. These units are hardwearing and Australian made.

The grey laminated craftwood worksurface can be adjusted to several angles. The back board is fitted with sheet grippers. This unit can be provided with an optional transparency viewer which is fitted on a swivel arm.
